Just around the bay, Ghajn Tuffeiha/Riviera is Golden Bay’s less well-frequented sister. This horse-shoe shaped bay has played host to a number of famous Hollywood Blockbusters and, regardless of surf conditions, is a sight for sore eyes from the top.
One negative is that, while the numerous stairs on the way down shouldn’t present a problem, dragging yourself and your board back up after a long session can be tiresome. The wave itself is soft and, if you’re lucky, you should get a fairly long ride. Riviera works in a variety of wind conditions but at least with the two popular spots next to each other, you’re just a short stroll from Golden Bay too if Ghajn Tuffeiha isn’t working that day.
