Armier Bay is a stunning sandy beach located in an area known as L’Ahrax in the north of the island, with views across to Gozo and Comino. In Summer, you’ll find yourself competing for space with the hordes of sun-seekers adamant on finding a quiet spot on the sand (particularly if you visit on a Sunday when families flock for barbecues).
However, in Winter, if conditions are right, waves are clean and the line-up is usually sparsely occupied (especially if you can go mid-week). One tricky thing- if you’re visiting the island, Armier is difficult to reach without your own transport with a board in tow. If you fancy a trip to this bay, you’ll be advised to hire a car if you don’t have your own.
